Route

After cycling along the seafront from Riccione to Misano Adriatico, we continue with some ups and downs along the unpaved roads which, from San Giovanni in Marignano, take us to the border of the Terre Malatestiane. After the climb up to Montegridolfo and its castle, we continue pedalling with our gaze fixed on the turrets and bell towers of the ancient town of Saludecio. Here we can enjoy splendid views over the Conca valley and the hills of the Marche region. From here, the road drops down, first to Morciano di Romagna and then to Sant’Andrea in Casale along trails and unpaved roads. Now begins a final short climb to the Malatesta village of San Clemente, alongside the vineyards and wheat fields of the foothills overlooking the Adriatic. Finally, we return to the coast along the trails which follow the banks of the Conca river and the picturesque dirt roads of the Romagna countryside.
