Gravel bike route

From Riccione, we immediately start riding through the Romagna countryside towards the Conca river, along the unpaved roads that flank it as far as Morciano di Romagna. From here the climb begins: 300 metres of altitude gain on a road with a constant gradient and no particularly difficult stretches. Our gaze is fixed on the imposing Malatesta Fortress of Montefiore Conca, in the shade of which we can take a break, after reaching the top of the hill, with magnificent views of the Apennines and the Romagna coastline. The well-deserved downward stretch leads to the trails and dirt roads of the Ventena valley and then, after San Giovanni in Marignano, on to the Marches region, as far as Gradara and its castle. After a few up and down stretches, through fields and vineyards, we enter the Monte San Bartolo Regional Park and reach Gabicce Monte, before returning to the seafront and, finally, Riccione.
