Tirreno Adriatico 2009 |

The Tirreno - Adriatico starts on March 11 and runs through March 17. It is an international cycling race stage, inserted in the Uci Pro Tour circuit. The "race of the two seas" reaches its 44th edition, seven stages that join the Tyrrhenian Sea to the Adriatic one. This edition records great innovationes on the tracing of the distance. The start will be from the Tuscany, on whose roads will run the first three stages, then a transfer in Umbria and the classic arrival in the Marches, at San Benedetto del Tronto. The details of the stages will be revealed at the official presentation of the cycling race, in Florence. The regulations provides the participation of maximum 25 team, composed by maximum 8 cyclists.
