 March 22Riccione 11th Long-Distance Bicycle Racing "VitaViva" City of Riccione Sunday March 22 in Riccione, there is the 11th edition of the Long Distance "VitaViva" race, which opens the cycling amateur season "Romagna Challenge". The cycle race is organized by ASD Eurobike Riccione and is open to the categories Cadets - Junior - Senior - Veterans - Gentlemen - Super Gentlemen - Women. The subscription fee is € 25.00 until 10/03/09 and € 30.00, for those enrolled after this date. The organization has created two alternative routes: one long, 120 km, and one short, 75 km. The more exciting climbs: the ascent towards Pietrarubbia (697 ml), long route, the one of Monte Grimano Terme (600 ml) and the descent between San Marino (600 m) and Faetano (200 m), short route. The departure is scheduled for 08.30 a.m. from the Palaterme of Riccione and the arrival within 2.00 p.m. to Oltremare, the theme park on the hill of Riccione.
