 September 14th 2008Fassa Valley Its denomination is changed, but the new "Val of Fassa Bike" that will take place on Sunday 14th September 2008 in Moena, in the middle of this beautiful Valley of Trentino, it maintains intact the charm of the historical "Rampilonga" that from this year it replaces. Besides the name, in fact, nothing seems to be change for this international event that from 20 years is among the more appreciated by mountain bike lovers. In 2007 were more than 3.000, and for the next edition the organizers wait for the same. In twenty years of experience, the Rampilonga affirmed itself like an irresistible event for sportsmen and tourists. Not only bikers, but also a lot of friends and their families have been able to appreciate thanks to the Rampilonga the beautiful landscapes of Fassa Valley. Natural heaven of the mountain bike who this year celebrated here in Trentino the world championships. Here champions always come a lot, like specialists Marzio Deho and Elena Gaddoni winner in 2007, but also Dario Acquaroli, Yader Zoli and many others. Besides, the ex world champion Max Debertolis, that here lives, organizes during the event a special camp of mountain bike. Runs and difficults who wait for riders, in fact, are those that made the history of mythical Rampilonga. A rich awarding of 1.000 Euros wait for the winner on the "Marathon" run of 64 kilometres. But you can run also on "Classic" (47 km) and "Short" (31 km) ones, everyone with start and finish in the Congress Centre Navalge of Moena, what with Pozza, Soraga and Vigo will be the magnificent scenery of this event.
