The Tour de France 2009 starts on Saturday, July 4, from a prestigeous start in the Principality of Monaco, then continues, for a week, along the Mediterranean coast between Monaco and Barcelona, between varied landscapes and rimembering to Dalì's and Van Gogh's paintings.
The organization, in order to make the route of the Tour of France 2009 more exciting, includes the climbing of the legendary Mont Ventoux, 24 hours before the finish in Paris, on the Champs-Elysees.
The 96th edition of the Grande Boucle is sure an exciting and hard cycling race, and highlights the enduring of sports teams.
All teams will be officially presented on Thursday 2 July at Port Hercule, North Dock, with also the concert singer Akram.
