The Tour of Belgium 2009 is held on May 26th - 31st.
It starts from Tervuren, near Brussels, in tribute to Eddy Merckx, who was born there, and after 5 stages, we have the winner of the eldest cycling race in Belgium.
The second stage leads from the heart of Flanders to the beaches of the North Sea.
The fourth stage crosses the territory of Liege, the most sporting province of Belgium.

The Tour of Belgium is part of the Uci Europe Tour and involves thousands of spectators along the streets of the small Kingdom.
The course is varied, with ascents and stages for sprinters: the Tour of Belgium offers a complete entertainment to the lovers of Cycling.

Among the most famous names, this year there will be, there will be the Russian Katusha Team, with Sergei Ivanov, Amstel Gold Race winner, McEwen, Filippo Simeoni and Danilo Napolitano, in addition to all the Belgian cycling teams.
