From July 31 to August 3 the beach of Riccione, Adriatic Coast, is the scenario of an initiative dedicated to the sport and the beach entertainment. Riviera Beach Games, first Olimpic Games of beach games, propose a rich event calendar of competitions. The idea is simple and innovating: from Lidi di Comacchio to Cattolica, trought Riccione and its beautiful equipped beaches, will follow one another competitions, tournaments, animations and sports for handicapped people and will animate the first long weekend of August. This event aims to become an annual appointment to develop and give relief to all these sports activities which make pleasant and amusing the days of the tourists at the sea. The sport and the beach games form always more part of the services and of the attractions which each beach and hotel want to offer to the sea holidays market. The beaches of Riccione offer a multitude of services and of equipment, for adults, children and young people full of energy. Beach Tennis, - Volleyball, - Football Grounds, Bowls, gym on the beach, activities of fitness in and out of water, children playing area and animation for all! The sport disciplines in competition are really much, from the most traditional, Swimming, Beach Volleyball, Beach Tennis, Beach Tennis, to the versions a little more elaborate like Foot Volleyball, similar to the beach volleyball, but played with the feet, Beach Hockey, a version adapts to sand, and Marathon of Beach Tennis and of Beach Volleyball, six hours tournaments for each discipline. There is a corner dedicated to the national sport, football, with a surprise however, vip and sport champions will play for charity. There will be also a giant Calciobalilla, eleven against eleven. It will unroll competitions of Frisbee and Speedminton, similar to the badminton, but faster, without net and layout. You can approach to Eastern disciplines like Tae Kwon Do, martial art based on legs movement or to enjoy fitness entertainment on the beach with hidrogym, fitwalking and beach sports. There is a sail corner, to approach children to the sea culture of these lands. There is also competition of Pedalò, fifth edition of Pedaloga, ten km of blow of pedal in Riccione waters. In these four sport days, Riccione will receive the European Championships Beach Tennis and Beach Tennis Master Tour, with the presence of international athletes and showbiz people.
