 2011 March 6-13After Giro, Tour and Vuelta, and together with Switzerland Tour and Tirreno-Adriatico, the Paris-Nice is in absolute among the most important stage races of the internazional cycling calendar. The French race is in fact insert in the calendar of the historical cycling races, and every Spring it anticipates other as many classical races as the Milan-Sanremo. In 2011, the Paris-Nice will be held from 6th to 13th March. The news about the next edition are still very few, but it seems that the organizers chosen for the 2011’s Paris-Nice departure the little town of Houdan, in the department of Yvelines, in the Île de France. Already among the more participated races, the Paris-Nice will be part in 2011 of the new calendar Uci World Tour, born by the fusion of Pro Tour and "historical" races, as exactly the Paris-Nice. To this races they will take part the 18 Uci Pro Teams, the best internazional cycling teams, besides to other teams of continental category. After the Tour Down Under in Australia, the Paris-Nice will be the second stage of the 2011 Uci World Tour, and will start from Houdan with a time trial stage.
