On Sunday April 26 takes place the 2009 Liege Bastogne Liege, start from Liège and arrival to Ans.
The cycle race Liege Bastogne Liege is a classic north roads race, with the Paris-Roubaix, the Tour of Flanders and the Flèche Wallonne.
Liège is considered the most sporting province of belgium and its history confirms: it hosted some Tour de France steps, the starting of Giro d'Italia in 2006 and this year a step of the Vuelta 2009.


Over 260 km to go, including sudden climbs and the mythical pavé; 11 slopes, such as the legendary Redoute, the Stockeu - 1,100 meters at 10.5% - or the one of Saint-Nicolas,  11%, only 6 kilometers far from the arrival.
