 April 21Belgium Getting ready for the Flèche Wallonne 2010, the cycling road race in Belgium, starting on April 21. Italy has excellent results in this competition: with the victory in 2009 of Davide Rebellin, who confirms winner for the third time after 2007 and 2004, Italy reaches the nineteenth victory, in total, and result to be the second nation for number of wins after the hosts of Belgium, with 37 victories. Two main innovations are ready for the Flèche Wallonne 2010: path becomes harder and more competitive and selective, with the addition of a double climb in the final race to the Wall of Huy. Moreover, this year for the first time, Alberto Contador takes part to the competition, after the succes at the Tour de France, wants to extend its success to the great classic one-day-races. Contador's presence arises great curiosity and expectation. Among other favorites: Valverde, Andy Schleck and Cunego. Also Evans should be followed with attention, and Kroon, Kreuziger, Nibali, Gilbert, Gesink, Ginanni, Monfort, Joaquim Rodriguez, Kolobnev, Franck Schleck and Horner. Not least, Francesco Gavazzi, very young italian athlet, but definitely prepared to tackle the 200 km of the Flèche Wallonne.
