The BICYCLE is the real “ace up tourism’s sleeve” in the third millennium. In fact, the Riccione Bike Hotels group has registered a full house not only during the Easter holidays and the 25th April and 1st May Italian bank holidays but also throughout spring. Crowds of tourists arrive armed with bicycles, in particular from Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Holland and Great Britain. Mind you, anyone who comes without one certainly won’t be left standing as the hotels have a bike park… and if you breakdown, no problem, there’s a workshop for repairs at the hotel. This really is a dream come true for cyclists who, each day, can venture into the hinterland and cycle amongst beautiful Malatesta fortresses. |
