Tuscany Bike-tourist Tour

Two days to bike among unforgettable landscapes as Chianti hills or typical suburbs of Siena’s territory like those of St. Gemignano with its many medieval towers.
Scheduled for Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th September, the 24th Tuscany Bike-tourist Tour waits for every cycling lover, offering to everyone the possibility to enjoy a whole week by bike, till the professional Tuscany Tour that will take place on Sunday 19th September. Organised by the Bicisporteam of Florence, the Tuscany Bike-tourist Tour offers four different runs, proper for every participant: from the longer one with 170 kilometres only for the well trained people, to the shorter one of 55 kilometres, with two “intermediary runs” of 83 and 137 kilometres. Taking part to the bike-tourist tour of Tuscany it will be an experience able to give you such important emotions like those typical of a region that gave to cycling a lot of important champions, from Gino Bartali to Fiorenzo Magni, from Gastone Nencini to more recent Michele Bartoli and Paolo Bettini, but also great national team directors as Alfredo Martini and Franco Ballerini.
The Bike-touring Tuscany Tour waits for everybody in Galluzzo, in province of Florence, on 11th and 12th September 2010.
